Buying Film Forum Tickets Online

Film Forum is now offering ticket, membership, gift cards and merchandise sales on the Web at www.filmforum.org, accepting all major credit cards: AMEX, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Ticket price is $12.00 for all shows. Members at the $75 level can buy 1 ticket at $6.00; members at the $110 level and higher can buy 2 tickets at $6.00 each for any show. There is a $1.25 service charge per ticket for members and nonmembers alike.

To buy tickets online, go to our NOW PLAYING / ONLINE TICKETS page.
The current day's schedule will then be presented.
To select tickets for that day, simply select the movie title you wish to see by clicking the CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS ONLINE button next to the movie you want.
If you want tickets for a future day (up to 7 days in advance) selecting the link 'Next Day' which will bring up the schedule for the following day, and do this until the day you wish to buy tickets for appears.
When you select the movie you wish to see, the first time you go to buy tickets online, you will be asked to register, unless you are a member who purchased your membership online. Once registered, you never have to register again. If you ever see this screen again, simply hit I've already registered, which brings up a screen asking you for your email address.
If you are a member, to receive your discount, you must have your member number. Your membership number is located on all newer membership cards, or call Craig Balan weekdays from 10 am to 5 PM at (212) 627-2035, or e-mail Craig.
At this point, you still can choose shows for upcoming days by clicking "CLICK for Showtimes Tomorrow".
Choose the show time or the movie you wish to see, which will bring up the page where you choose the number & type of tickets you want.
When you have finished selecting your tickets, click NEXT. You can hit your BACK button at any time to make changes to your selection.
The page to enter in your credit card comes up next.
Enter in your credit card information.
Click "Buy This Ticket" ONLY ONCE.
The system will generate a receipt that you should print and bring to the box office to exchange for a ticket.
If you cannot print the receipt, note the confirmation number on your computer screen and in your confirmation e-mail - and bring that to the box office instead.
IMPORTANT: You MUST show your membership card at the box office in order to receive the member's discount.

When purchasing online, the choices you have made at each step are displayed on the left side of the screen.
To make changes in your selections, hit the BACK button until you arrive at the screen of choices you wish to change.
We will not be selling tickets for double-bills online.
For all other shows, you will be able to buy tickets up to 7 days in advance.
Tickets for individual shows stop 30 minutes before showtime.
Higher level members ($250 and above) may still avail themselves of telephone reservation privileges without purchasing tickets in advance.
We cannot exchange tickets or provide refunds. Buy carefully.
The box office will continue to sell tickets for cash only and day-of-show only.
Credit cards will be accepted at the box office for membership purchases only - not for tickets.
