Actor NORMAN LLOYD interviewed by BEN MANKIEWICZ via Skype
- Thursday, February 27 at 8:15pm
Following the 8:15 screening of Saboteur on Thursday, February 27, legendary actor/producer/director Norman Lloyd, who plays the title character (and was later associate producer of Hitchcock’s weekly TV show, as well as director of twenty-two episodes), will be interviewed by TCM host Ben Mankiewicz via Skype — a first for Film Forum and Mr. Lloyd, who also appears in the oldest extant television program (1939). In his 85-year career, Mr. Lloyd has worked with Hitchcock, Welles (he is the last surviving member of the Mercury Players), Chaplin, Renoir, Brecht, and many others - making him one of the last links to old Hollywood.
The interview will be followed by a transcontinental Q&A with our audience in New York.
