Anita Pallenberg

The daughter of a Swiss family who grew up in Rome, Anita Pallenberg was an icon of the swinging 60s and one of the international jet set -- friend to Andy Warhol, fashion model, lover of two of the Rolling Stones: first Brian Jones and then Keith Richards, with whom she has two children.

After roles in Volker Schlondorff's A DEGREE OF MURDER and Roger Vadim's BARBARELLA, she became friends with Donald Cammell, who offered her the part of Pherber in PERFORMANCE-- originally planned for Tuesday Weld! Her most recent film was John Maybury's bio-pic of Francis Bacon, LOVE IS THE DEVIL.

Anita Pallenberg and editor Frank Mazzola will be appearing in person at the 7:40 pm show show of PERFORMANCE on Saturday, May 12.
