Film source information

A mockumentary on show biz wannabes that's a must-see for anyone who has ever answered a casting call, read a screenplay in development, took voice, dance and drama lessons, waited on tables, considered plastic surgery, paid too much for 8x10 glossies, got excited when their agent called, or spent time rehearsing their Academy Award speech.

Griffin Dunne directed and Mira Sorvino produced this hilarious story of two would-be stars, played by Laura Kirk and Nat DeWolf (who also wrote the movie). Making cameo appearances as themselves are:Sandra Bullock, Carrie Fisher, Melissa Gilbert, Buck Henry, Spike Lee, Penelope Ann Miller, Charlie Sheen, Fisher Stevens, Mira Sorvino and Gort, the dog from There's Something About Mary.
